FRANCES
MALDONADO

My name is Frances Maldonado and I am running to be the next Judge of County Court of Law #2. I am a dedicated public servant and bring a commitment to fair and ethical leadership, balanced experience, compassion and integrity to the bench. I bring extensive experience in prosecuting high-level offenses, defending indigent clients in serious criminal cases, advocating for clients in personal injury matters, and working on local governance issues to improve quality of life in El Paso. My work has been rooted in the core belief that every person that walks into the courtroom deserves to be heard, respected, and treated fairly. I understand the personal impact that criminal cases and the court system has on individuals and families, and I will work to safeguard the right to a speedy trial.  I am running for Judge because I believe our courts should be fair, efficient and reflect the values that make El Paso unique.
